6.5.2 Operating the filter membrane holder
To remove the filter membrane, proceed as follows:
Inserting the filter membrane

Shut the ball valve upstream of the filter membrane holder.
1. Hold the holder by the lower part with one hand and release
the lock at 90° (upper part) with the other hand.
2. Disengage the lower part from the upper when the guide of
the lower part is parallel to the lock guide.
3. Pull down the lower part slightly. Then pull it fully through the
opening created.

4. Place a single filter membrane or, for cascading, multiple fil-
ter membranes with different filtration ratings (1 = coarse,
2 = medium, 3 = fine) on the corresponding support sieve of
the filter membrane holder.
5. Place the lower part horizontally in the upper part together
with the filter membrane.
6. Lift the lower part vertically under the upper part. The posi-
tion of the grid must match the number of cascades.
