8 Eliminating errors
The following errors can occur during operation:

The extraction unit
switches continu-
ously from one con-
tainer to the other. The filling level of
the test liquid is too
low. Check if the ball valve up-
stream of the filter mem-
brane is in the open posi-
tion.
Check the filter membrane
for clogging. The test liquid
cannot be extracted.
The test liquid is still in an
external test item. Position
the test item so that the test
liquid enters the analysis
chamber.

The extraction unit
is overfilled with the
test liquid You have added
more than the dis-
played volume in the
analysis chamber. Shut the ball valve above
the filter membrane holder.
Open the filter membrane
holder and place a suitable
container under it to collect
the test liquid.
Open the ball valve above
the filter membrane holder
and drain the residual
amount from the analysis
chamber.
