LCD display flashes three times and indicates the program values now
saved and ready for confirmation.

When the program value is saved as described in Section 8), the
micro-processor multiplies the now defined correction value with the
source value defined according to Programming item 2). The factor
achieved in this way represents the correct volume increment
corresponding to an input measurement impulse. This value and the
unit of measurement are saved redundantly for safety reasons.
The content of the totalizer is also retained after reprogramming, as
long as the unit of measurement is not changed. If the programming
referred to in point 8) is completed with a new measurement unit, the
totalizer is automatically reset to zero.
After enabling the programming button, the micro-processor switches
off all of the functions, including the LCD display, except for data
storage.
This status is retained for as long as either the RESET or the TOTAL
command is given. To switch off again, the programming button must
be actuated once more.
The programming switch itself is inoperable if the micro-processor is
switched off as specified above.
