Thank you for purchasing from the Hyco Riviera range of oil filled radiators.
Available in 1.5kW standard and 2.0kW timer models, the Riviera offers a
silent, gentle heating solution for light commercial and domestic use. 
Please read and understand these instructions before commencing 
installation, and leave them with the user when installation is complete.

1. Important safety points

•  

Do not carry the appliance by the supply cord.

•  

Do not let the supply cord hang over the appliance.

•  

The supply cord cannot be replaced by the user. If the cord is damaged the appliance    

should be returned to the manufacturer or an authorised service agent for 

replacement.

•  

Do not cover the appliance as it may cause overheating.

•  

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

•  

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the 

appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal 

operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning      

use of the appliance in safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged   

from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance    

or perform user maintenance.

•  

This unit should be installed at least 1.5m from baths, showers, laundries, swimming 

pools etc. 

•  

Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention 

should be paid where children and vulnerable people are present.

•  

This heater is filled with a precise quantity of special oil. Repairs requiring opening of 

the oil container are only to be made by the manufacturer or their service agent.

•  

Always ensure the castors are mounted to the bottom of the heater. 

DO NOT TURN ON THE HEATER IF IT IS UPSIDE DOWN

•  

Always switch off the appliance when not in use.
