Thank you for purchasing the Hyco Novara PTC High level heater. 

This heater is typically used in commercial settings and is ideal for a wide

range of fixed installation heating applications. Please read and understand

these instructions before commencing installation and leave them with 

the user when installation is complete.

1. Important safety points

The Electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in 

accordance with the current edition of the I.E.E. Wiring Regulations.

Only connect the unit to a single phase supply with a mains voltage as specified 

on the rating plate.

Do not carry the appliance by the supply cord.

The supply cord cannot be replaced by the user. If the cord is damaged the 

appliance should be returned to the manufacturer or an authorised service

agent for replacement.

The appliance must not be located immediately below an electrical socket outlet.

Always keep the outlet and inlet grilles clean.

Do not cover the outlet as it may cause overheating.

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the 

appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal

operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning 

use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children 

aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the 

appliance or perform user maintenance.

This unit should be installed at least 1.5m from baths, showers, laundries, 

swimming pools etc.
