The unit will shut down if an excessive temperature is reached (above 60 degrees).
When you off the water flow the unit will stop heating automatically.
If the unit isn’t in use for a long time switch off the valve and the power.
Note: Relief Valve Drain
The relief valve (fitted to the water inlet) may discharge water in case of unit
malfunction, incorrect installation or excess incoming water pressure. An appropriate
DRAIN or other provision must be fitted to prevent water damage to property.
