Electrical connection
The water heater must be installed in accor-
dance with I.E.E Regulations.

Any excess cable can be stored in the com-
partment in the rear of the unit (Fig. 9).
The unit should be installed with a fixed cable
connection (spur point). An isolator with at
least 3 mm separation on all poles must be
used in the AC mains circuit.
Temperature limiting
(Fig. 10)
Limiting the temperature can:
•
reduce the risk of scalding,
•
save energy
•
reduce scaling
The temperature can be limited to 38 °C,
45 °C, 55 °C and 65 °C.

Warning!
This appliance must be earthed.
Commissioning
1. Open hot tap fully until flows free of bubb-
le.
2. Switch on and select temperature.
Risk of running dry!
A thermal cut-out is fitted within
the appliance. If this operates for safety
reasons it can be reset by simply turning
off the electrical supply to the water hea-
ter. When the supply is switched on again
the thermal cut-out will have reset. If the
problem continues, fault finding should be
carried out by a qualified installer.
