7.4.
The Lens Edger doesn’t receive any data from the Smart
Blocker
Check if the serial interface cable is connected and fixed firmly.
Check if the port of the Lens Edger where the Smart Blocker is connected is
either “Tracer” or “Blocker”. Otherwise turn off the instruments and change the
port connection appropriately.
Check if the port of the Frame Reader where the Lens Edger is connected is
either “Edger-1” or “Edger-2”. Otherwise turn off the instruments and change
the port connection appropriately.
Check if the port setting in the options menu of the Lens Edger is correct.
If the problem continues in spite of all the measures above, replace the serial
interface cable with the same type provided by Huvitz.
