POWER MONITOR
The single phase monitor detects phase
loss, phase reversal, low voltage, and
phase imbalance. It opens the control
circuit when any of these conditions
occurs. When the fault is corrected, it
will automatically reset. The normally
open contacts will close when 3PH
voltage is applied to the three input ter-
minals. The monitor has an indicator
that lights as long as it is not tripped.
The low voltage cutout is adjustable
from 180 to 230 volts for 208/230 volt
units, and from 380 to 460 volts for 440
volt units. This should be adjusted to
15% below the nominal line voltage at
power source. A voltmeter should be
used to establish actual supply voltage.
The monitor controls a two pole bypass
relay (BP) making and breaking power
to the control panel.
