Info
Never use DOT 5 brake fluid. It is silicone-based and purple in color. Oil seals and brake lines are not designed for DOT 5
brake fluid.
Avoid contact between brake fluid and painted parts. Brake fluid attacks paint.
Only use clean brake fluid from a sealed container.

Stand the vehicle upright.

Remove screw cap
with membrane
and the O-ring.

Manually press the brake caliper to the brake disc to push back the brake piston.
Ensure that brake fluid does not flow out of the brake fluid reservoir, extracting it
by suction if it does.

Make sure when pushing back the brake piston that you do not press the
brake caliper against the spokes.

Remove cotter pins
, pull out pin
, and remove the brake linings.

Clean the brake caliper and brake caliper support.

Check that leaf spring
in the brake caliper and sliding plate
in the brake
caliper support are seated correctly.

The arrow on the leaf spring points in the rotation direction of the brake
disc.

Insert the new brake linings, insert pin
, and mount cotter pins

Always change the brake linings in pairs.
Make sure that decoupling plate
is mounted on the piston side brake
lining.

Operate the foot brake lever repeatedly until the brake linings are in contact with
the brake disc and there is a pressure point.
