Cleaning
Regular cleaning, especially under the mower
deck, will increase the machine’s life-span. Clean
the machine directly after use (after it is cooled),
before the debris sticks.
Do not spray water on the top of the mower deck.
Use compressed air to clean the top side of the
mower deck. Do not use a high pressure washer
or steam cleaner. Avoid spraying engine and
electrical components with water.
Clean the underside of the deck with normal
water pressure. Do not rinse hot surfaces with
cold water. Let unit cool before washing.

Always wear eye
protection when cleaning and
washing.
Hardware
Check daily. Examine the machine for loose or
missing hardware.
Caster Wheels
Check every 200 hours. Check that wheels turn
freely. Foam fi lled tires or solid tires will void the
warranty.
To replace, remove the nut and caster bolt.
Pull
the wheel out of the yoke and take care with the
spacer. Install in reverse order. Tighten the caster
bolt and torque to 45 ft-lbs (61 Nm).
NOTE: Tire must turn freely but axle spacers
must not. If wheels do not turn freely take the unit
to the dealer for service.
Anti-scalp Rollers
Anti-scalp rollers are correctly adjusted when
they are slightly off of the ground when the deck
is at the desired cutting height. Anti-scalp rollers
keep the deck in the correct position to prevent
scalping in most terrain conditions. Do not adjust
the rollers to support the deck. The rollers must
be approximately 1/4" (6.5 mm) from ground.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Adjust anti-scalp
rollers with the mower on a fl at level surface. To
avoid deck damage, the anti-scalp rollers must
not be adjusted to support the deck.

MAINTENANCE
Palanca de ajuste del asiento
El asiento se puede ajustar longitudinalmente. La
palanca se encuentra debajo del lado derecho
del asiento (visto desde el asiento del conductor).
Cuando se realizan ajustes, la palanca se mueve
hacia la izquierda.
INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE
El asiento
no debe ajustarse cuando la unidad está en
movimiento.
Interruptor de la cuchilla
Para acoplar el equipo de corte, tire de la perilla
hacia afuera; las cuchillas de corte se desacoplan
cuando la perilla se presiona hacia abajo.
Estrangulador
El estrangulador se utiliza para los arranques en
frío para proporcionar al motor una mejor mezcla
de combustible. Para los arranques en frío el
control se debe tirar hacia arriba.
Interruptor de arranque
El interruptor de encendido se encuentra en
el panel de control y se utiliza para arrancar y
detener el motor. En los modelos equipados con
faros, gire la llave en el sentido de las agujas del
reloj, hasta la posición ACCESSORY (Accesorio)
para usar los faros.
Medidor de servicio
El medidor de servicio muestra la cantidad total
de horas que el motor ha estado funcionando e
indica cuando el motor y el cortacésped necesitan
reparación.
Cada 50 horas de funcionamiento, aparecerá
un icono de lata de aceite que permanecerá
encendido durante dos horas, antes de que se
produzca un reinicio automático. Para restablecer
manualmente el medidor, gire la llave a la
posición de apagado cinco veces con intervalos
de un segundo. Para obtener información sobre
el mantenimiento del motor y el cortacésped,
consulte el Registro de servicio de este manual.
NOTA:
El indicador de servicio funciona (horas
de reloj) solo cuando el motor está en marcha.
Asegúrese de poner la llave en posición de
apagado cuando la unidad no esté en uso, para
evitar la acumulación de horas del medidor.
