11.9 Removing the lower triple clamp
Preparatory work
–
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 51)
–
Remove the front wheel. ( p. 102)
–
Remove the fork legs. ( p. 53)
–
Remove the start number plate. ( p. 60)
–
Remove front fender. ( p. 60)
–
Remove the handlebar cushion.

Main work
–
Remove indicator lamp holder.
–
Open cable holder

on the left and detach the wiring har-
ness.
–
Remove screw

Remove screw

–
Remove the upper triple clamp with the handlebar and set
aside.
Info
Cover the components to protect them against dam-
age.
Do not kink the cables and lines.

Remove the upper steering head bearing.
