The engine speed is too slow.
Put the throttle control in the fast po-
sition.
The product is operated at too high
forward or rearward speed.
Use slower speed.
The grass is wet.
Let the grass become dry before you
cut it.

The tire pressure is incorrect.
Do a check of the tire pressure. Ad-
just the tire pressure if it is necessa-
ry.
The blades are worn, damaged or
loose.
Replace blades or tighten bolts on
the blades.
Buildup of grass or dirt below the cut-
ting deck.
Clean the cutting deck.
The drive belt for the cutting deck is
worn or damaged.
Replace the drive belt for the cutting
deck.
The blades are incorrectly installed.
Install the blades with the sharp edge
down.
Incorrect blades are used.
Replace the blades with the correct
blades in the parts manual.
Clogged air holes of the cutting deck
from buildup of grass, dirt around
mandrels.
Clean around mandrels to open air
holes.
