UPPER CHUTE  (See Figs. 6A & 6B)

1.    Lower mower to its lowest cutting position.
2.   Assemble upper chute by inserting curved end into 

hole in back of cover. 

NOTE: Handle carefully so as not to damage full bagger 
indicator. 
3.    Push in and turn upper chute until it is in line with lower 

chute.

4.    Align the bosses on lower chute with alignment slots 

on upper chute and slide together.

5.    Secure with rubber latch by hooking hole in latch over 

latch pin.

  INSTALL CROSS BLADES  
 (See 

Fig. 

7)

  New Blade Bolts supplied

The blade mounting bolts provided in this kit must be used 
when mounting the cross blades to your mower. Do not 
discard the hardware removed from single blade assembly. 
The shorter single blade bolt and fl at washer must be used 
when con vert ing back to a single blade.
1.      Remove blade bolt, lock washer and fl at washer securing 

blade.

2.    In a safe place, store the blade bolt and fl at washer for  

future use when converting back to a single blade.

3.   Install cross blade and adapter on bottom of original 

blade with new blade mounting bolt provided and lock 
washer removed from single blade assembly.

IMPORTANT: To ensure proper assembly, center hole in 
original blade must align with star on mandrel assembly.
4.    Tighten blade bolt securely.
