out
The throttle loc
k
out is designed to prevent accidental
operation of the throttle control. When you press the loc
k
(A) (i.e. when you grasp the handle) it releases the throttle
control (B). When you release the handle the throttle
control and the throttle loc
k
out both move bac
k to their
original positions. This movement is controlled by two
independent return springs. This arrangement means that
the throttle control is automatically loc
k
ed at the idle
setting.
Ma
k
e sure the throttle control is loc
k
ed at the idle setting
when the throttle loc
k
out is released.
Press the throttle loc
k
out and ma
k
e sure it returns to its
original position when you release it.
Chec
k that the throttle control and throttle lo
c
k
out move
freely and that the return springs wor
k prope
rly.
See instructions under the heading Start. Start the harvesting
equipment and apply full throttle. Release the throttle trigger
and check that the hook stops and remains stationary. If
the hook moves when the throttle trigger is in the idle
position then the carburettor idle setting must be adjusted.
See instructions under the heading Maintenance.
