4. Upon completion of descaling, the machine will run a self-check.
5. A reference table on the machine operation with various water hardness levels is given be-
low. If water hardness level is set in the water hardness indication mode, the machine will per-
form descaling in accordance with the settings made.
Attention: before using the machine for coffee making, water hardness should be set first and
foremost.

Before making coffee, start the machine. After the machine is started, you may proceed with
making coffee of your choice.
(Reminder: the machine is ready to operate after fresh water is added into the hopper, and the
machine is connected to power mains).
