Removing the Shade (If Necessary)
■
Start at the bottom of the front channel, pull the channel to separate from the mounting
channel.
■
Repeat for the opposite side.
■
Lower the shade approximately 4".
■
While holding the headrail, push
back on the bottom tab of the
installation bracket with a
flat blade screwdriver to release
the bottom edge of the headrail.
■
After releasing the bottom edge,
roll the back of the headrail
down and out from the bracket.
Removing the Bottom and Rear Channels (If Necessary)

After removing the front channels and the shade, remove the bottom channel.

If you used the screws to attach the bottom rail to the sill, remove the bottom channel
cover and remove the screws.
➤
If you used the adhesive tape to attach the bottom channel, insert a putty knife
between the bottom channel and the sill to pry off.
NOTE:
You may need a solvent like 3M
™
Citrus Base Cleaner and/or Isopropyl alcohol
to remove the adhesive residue from the sill.
