Downrigger Setup
Downrigger Setup
allows you to set up and link
the downriggers. You must perform this procedure once for each downrigger
before you can activate the downriggers. For more information, see
Downrigger
View
.
To set up the downrigger(s):
1. Highlight Downrigger Setup on the Downrigger X-Press™ menu.
2. Use the RIGHT 4-Way Cursor Control key to display the Edit Downrigger
submenu, then use the 4-Way Cursor Control keys to set up, link and
save your changes for each downrigger. (See
Downrigger View
for
more information.)
Activate All
Activate All
allows you to activate (lower, send
down) all the downriggers simultaneously. Once you perform this procedure, all
the downriggers will begin moving. For more information, see Downrigger View.
CAUTION:
Moving all of the downriggers at once can cause tangled lines. It is
recommended that you have one person tend each line/downrigger when you make
significant depth changes.
To activate all downriggers:
1. Highlight Activate All on the Downrigger X-Press™ menu.
2. Use the RIGHT 4-Way Cursor Control key to select Activate All.
