Mode selection
The »tiviton DAB« offers a choice of 3 different modes: “Auxiliary Input”, “DAB” and “FM”:
- “Auxiliary Input” stands for the audio sinput of a connected external sound source like a
TV-set, a stereo set or a mobile phone.
- “DAB” serves to receive digital radio transmissions in the DAB/DAB+ format.
- “FM” is selected if the reception of analogue FM radio stations is desired.
Press the MODE button repeatedly to switch between the various modes. Once the desired
mode is indicated on the display, leave the MODE button unpressed. The indicated mode
is activated.
Antenna
The transmitter has an extendable antenna for radio reception. The antenna should be fully
extended and can be tilted for optimal reception.
Remote control
The remote control only functions when the transmitter is either switched on or is in stand-
by mode.
1. Insert the two AAA-size batteries into the battery compartment.
2. Power On/Off: Press the power button two switch the receiver on or off.
3. MUTE-button: Press the MUTE-button to switch the sound on or off.
4. MODE-button (input selection): Press this button to choose between one of the three
modes:
1) AUX
2) DAB/DAB+ Radio
3) FM Radio
5. TUNE+/TUNE-: DAB/DAB+ / FM channel search
The remote control has a transmission range of approx. 4 metres distance to the trans-
mitter.
