System Status button
The System Status button (only) is a status indicator as well as a link. It changes color to indicate
the satellite router’s current status, as explained in
Table 4: System Status button colors
on page
16. To see more detailed status information, click the System Status button to open the System
Status page.

Meaning
Button color
OK – The satellite router is fully operational. The user can browse the Internet
as long as on the router has been activated for broadband service.
Green
Degraded – The router is fully operational but in a degraded mode. Performance
is slower than normal for any of the following reasons:
Yellow
• The satellite router is in VADB mode, using a backup phone line connection
to the Internet instead of the satellite link.
• The router is in fallback mode.
• One or more TurboPage TTMP connections is not functioning.
• Transmissions beyond a certain threshold number have not been received
by the satellite (state code 30). This could be caused by weather conditions.
Degraded – The router is fully operational, but performance is temporarily
impaired because:
Orange
• The daily download allowance has been exceeded. This allowance does
not apply if the subscriber’s service plan has no download limit. For more

• Not all IPSec sessions are functioning. As a result, data will not flow between
some destinations.
There is an operational problem. The router cannot access the satellite network.
Red
If the System Status button is red
or yellow
, you can look for a red flag next to any value
or values on the System Control Center information pages (those with tables listing parameters
