(9).The gas cylinder must always be used in the upright position.
‐
Whenever used outdoors, the A310/A300 must be suitably protected against rain.
‐
Never look for leaks using a flame, just use a soapy-water solution.
‐
In case of any difficulties or problems. Shut off the gas supply and contact your dealer immediately.
‐
Should a leak catch fire prematurely before you can close the cylinder valves (2), then use a wet cloth to
close the cylinder valve.
2) Assembly on the gas cylinder make sure that:
‐
All taps on the consuming appliance are closed.
‐
The connecting pipe to the gas appliance is correctly fitted.
In total absence of any flame, remove the plug or seal cap from the
cylinder valve. After checking the presence and the good state of the
gasket (8), tighten the union nut (9) by screwing up in the direction
indicated by the arrow (10).The union nut should be tightened
moderately. Nevertheless sufficiently to ensure a leak-tight joint
which must be checked by using a soapy-water solution. Hold the
regulator and turn the union nut, the regulator itself is never to be
rotated.
3) Plant Operation
Once the A310/A300 has been correctly mounted on cylinder valve.
The gas supply occurs by turning the valve hand wheel in the
direction shown by the arrow (11).To shut off the gas supply ,reverse
above procedure.
4) Replacing the gas cylinder
Make sure that:
‐
All taps on the consuming appliance are in the closed position.
‐
The cylinder valve is closed.
Then, dismount the A310/A300 by unscrewing the union nut (9).
DANGER
To prevent fire or explosion hazard when testing for a leak:
1.
Always perform the “leak test“ as below before lighting the grill and each time the cylinder is connected for use.
2.
Do not smoke or allow other sources of ignition in the area while conducting a leak test.
3.
Conduct the leak test outdoors in a well-ventilated area.
4.
Do not use matches, lighters or a flame to check for leaks.
5.
Do not use grill until all leaks have been stopped. If you are unable to stop a leak, disconnect the propane or
butane supply, call for gas appliance service or your local gas supplier.
Checking for Leaks
1.
Make 2-3 oz. of leak solution by mixing one part liquid dishwashing
soap with three parts water.
2.
Make sure control knobs are in the “OFF” position.
3.
Spray some solution on the tank valve up to the regulator connection.
(See diagram to right.)
4.
Inspect the solution at the connections for bubbles. If no bubbles appear,
the connection is secure.
5.
If bubbles appear, you have a leak. Go to step 6.
6.
Disconnect the regulator from the tank and reconnect. Make sure the
connection is tight and secured.
7.
Retest with solution.
8.
If you continue to see bubbles, replace the cylinder.
