7 Dismantling
7.1 Safety instruction
Personnel
Dismantling must be carried out by skilled technical staff only.
WARNING!
Observe the safety instructions contained in
Chapter 2
when dismantling the device!
NOTES!
Do not use a hammer or similar tool when dismantling the device due to the risk of damage
occurring to the bearings or coupling!
7.2 Dismantling the encoder
Disconnect all electrical cable prior to beginning any work.
To dismantling the encoder follow the instructions given in Chapter 6.5 in the reverse order.
For dismounting first a threaded pin M6x10 ISO 7436 has to be screwed into the adapter shaft. With a
screw M8, the encoder must be pressed. Optionally, the adapter shaft must be secured against turning
