Maintenance

WARNING

 Disconnect power before servicing.

Remove corrosion from the plug terminals.  There are two replaceable fuses used in the assembly.  Both
are mounted on the Base-16 PCBA, as shown in Figure 4, and both limit the amount of current from the
120 V ac source.

Fuse 

F1

 (Ref. 4) limits the current to the speaker amplifier circuit on the Base-16 PCBA.  This should

be replaced with a UL-recognized 0.7-amp, slow-blow fuse.

Fuse 

F2

 (Ref. 4) limits the current into the Bias Power Supply PCBA.  This should be replaced with a

UL-recognized 0.2-amp, slow-blow fuse.
