Unpacking the Equipment
This chapter describes how to unpack and check the delivered equipment to ensure that all the
materials are included and intact.
Context
When transporting, moving, or installing the equipment, components, or parts, you must:
The base stations need to be transported to the site before they are installed. Do not unpack them or
change the packages of them before transportation.
Prevent them from colliding with doors, walls, shelves, or other objects.
Wear clean gloves, and avoid touching the equipment, components, or parts with bare hands,
sweat-soaked gloves, or dirty gloves.
Transportation of the base stations must comply with requirements of ETSI 300 019-1-2 class 2.3.
For the goods damage caused by non-standard and violent transportation or non-human factors (such
as natural disasters), the transportation entity should take the responsibility.
After a cabinet or a BBU is unpacked, it must be powered on within 7 days.
After an RRU is unpacked, it must be powered on within 24 hours.
