6. Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol
When deployed in ring network, the OptiX OSN 3500 can automatically start the
Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) and logically modify the network topology to
avoid network storm. Figure 4-8 shows a modified logical topology.
