The principles for routing IF cables inside the cabinet are as follows:
•
Figure 1
shows the cable areas.
•When connecting an IF cable to a left-side RFU, route the IF cable out of the IDU cable tray on the right, route it downward
along the front cable area on the right, lay it out at the bottom of the cabinet, and route it upward along the front cable area on
the left. See
Figure 2
.
•When connecting an IF cable to a right-side RFU, route the IF cable out of the IDU cable tray on the right and route it upward
along the front cable area on the right. See
Figure 3
.
•After laying out IF cables, use binding straps to bind them to the fasteners on the side of cable areas.
•Handle redundant IF cables in cable areas. See
Figure 4
.
•IF cables and RF cables were installed in cabinets before delivery. You need to install IF cables onsite only in capacity
expansion.
