turns off? 

Video playback is paused when the screen of your HUAWEI MediaPad M1 8.0 turns off. 

After the screen is turned back on, you can resume to watch the video from where it is paused. 
Audio continues to play even when the screen of your HUAWEI MediaPad M1 8.0 turns off.
