4.2 Management System
4.2.1 System Description
The PowerPOD management system consists of management hardware ECC800-
Pro and management hardware NetEco. The subsystems and components are
independent of each other and work together to collect and manage data of each
process and infrastructure of the PowerPOD.

As the management hardware, the ECC800-Pro collector has the following
features:

The ECC800-Pro manages the real-time status, alarms, and configuration
information of devices inside the PowerPOD, provides temperature
prediction and fault alarms for power supply and distribution system
nodes, and offers a graphical user interface (GUI) to facilitate O&M of
devices inside the PowerPOD.

The ECC800-Pro converges and processes non-network interface
monitoring devices, and sends the real-time data and alarms of the
monitoring devices to the upper-layer monitoring software NetEco.
–
Provides excellent safety protection and poses no security risk to persons.
–
Provides a data collection layer that features sound isolation and
protection mechanisms. The normal running of devices is not affected
when the collection layer is faulty.

As the management software, NetEco V600R021C10 is a new-generation data
center infrastructure management system developed by Huawei. It manages
the real-time status, alarm information, and configuration information of
data center devices.

High reliability: 24/7 services with reliability up to 99.99%.

Central management, and remote management and maintenance for the
monitoring system over the network.

Real-time monitoring of data center device running status over an
Internet browser after authorization and permission authentication.

Modular designs for functional subsystems, allowing flexible modular
integration, maintenance, and capacity expansion based on the number
of objects to be monitored, and providing a monitoring capacity of at
least 50,000 measurement points.
