Follow-up Procedure
Before connecting the power plug of a device to the PDU2000, loosen the locking device on
the PDU2000. After connecting the power plug, tighten the locking device.
5.4.2 (Optional) Installing Branch Ground Copper Bars
Context
A main ground copper bar is provided in the PDC. Ground terminals of cabinets inside the
module are connected to the ground copper bar over ground cables with a minimum cross-
sectional area of 16 mm
2
. If many cabinets are deployed, branch ground copper bars can be
installed in certain cabinets so that nearby cabinets can be grounded by connecting to the
ground bars. Install one branch ground copper bar with a BOM number of 21170398 inside
the battery cabinet or IT cabinet closest to the PDC for each row of cabinets.
Procedure
Step 1
Remove the two M8 screws from a branch ground copper bar, as shown in
Figure 5-11

Open the cabinet rear door, install the branch ground copper bar on the topmost position of
the rack rail (outside), and secure the ground bar using the M8 screws removed earlier, as
shown in
Install the branch ground copper bar in the battery cabinet or IT cabinet adjacent to the PDC.
