● If a water sensor (rope-type) is to be connected, connect the signal cable to
terminals X201 and X202.
● When installing a water sensor (rope-type), avoid direct contact with metal.
Otherwise, false alarms may be generated. You are advised to use a winding
pipe to wrap the water detection cable. A φ20 mm pipe is recommended.
● Do not use metal fasteners to bind the water detection cable or bind it to a
metal pole. Otherwise, false alarms may be generated.
● Do not install the water detection cable in an area prone to dust accumulation
and long-term high humidity. Otherwise, false alarms may be generated.
● Do not lay out the water detection cable in an area prone to rainwater or water
vapor. Otherwise, false alarms may be generated.

4.5.4 (Optional) Installing Teamwork and Monitoring
Communications Cables

● Units of different models and software versions cannot be networked for
teamwork.
● Connect teamwork and monitoring communications cables based on the
networking scenario.
● The teamwork communications cable must be a shielded network cable of Cat
5e or higher specifications. The network cable length between adjacent units
must be less than or equal to 100 m, and the maximum distance for CAN
teamwork communication must be less than or equal to 310 m.
● Route cables in compliance with local standards. Take appropriate shielding
measures, such as using a galvanized pipe or an ELV cable tray, to reduce the
impact of electromagnetic interference on teamwork communication.
Otherwise, teamwork networking may fail.
