In the general configuration mode, you can run all commands in the user mode and
the privilege mode.
Figure 3-1
shows the relationships between the command modes. An ellipse represents a
command mode. An arrow indicates the switching from one mode to another mode.
Commands are listed above the arrows.

To switch from the privilege mode to the general configuration mode, execute
configure
terminal
.
To exit from the general configuration mode and enter the privilege mode, execute
