The host device must be running EMUI 10.1
or later.

If you want to use the stylus pen with
another device, follow Method 1 again to
pair it with the other device.

The stylus pen cann
ot be used during
charging.
•
If the stylus pen does not work, connect the
charger to the host device, attach the stylus
pen to the charger for a battery prompt to
display, and try using the stylus pen again.

If the stylus pen stays idle for a long time, its
power will gradually drain until it enters
battery protection mode. In this case, the
stylus pen needs to be charged for 5 to 10
minutes before it can be used again.

Method 2:
Currently, this method applies only to the
HUAWEI MatePad Pro.
Attach the gro
ove side of the stylus pen to the top
edge of a host device for pairing or charging.
•
It is recommended that you use a Huawei
leather case and keyboard. Otherwise, the
stylus pen
may not be able to pair or charge
properly.
•
If the stylus pen stays idle f

Replacing the Pen Tip

The pen tip may wear out during daily use,
espe
cially when used on a rough protective
film. When the replacement tips run out, it is
recommended that you purchase more from
authorized Huawei channels.

The tip could be damaged if the stylus pen
drops. Please take good care of it to prevent
this from hap
pening.
•
There are two types of replacement tips in
the packaging box. The tip with a blue
bottom is softer, while the one with a red
bottom is harder. Please select a pen tip
based on your usage habits and scenarios.
