Getting to Know Your Phone
Touch the icon area in the title bar and then touch the
Speaker
icon on the System Status screen. To increase or decrease the
volume level, flicker your finger up or down the volume bars. You
can also press the VOLUME UP/DOWN keys on the right of your
device. Touch
Vibrate
to enable or disable the Vibrate mode.
Touch
Off
to mute both the system volume and ring volume.
Entering Text
When you start a program or select a field that requires text or
numbers, the
Input Panel
icon becomes available on the menu
bar.
• Tap the
Input Selector
arrow (that appears next to the
Input
Panel
icon) to open a menu where you can select a text input
method and customize input options.
• After selecting a text input method, the corresponding
Input
Panel
is displayed, which you can use to enter text.
Using Keybo ard
The Keyboard is a full on-screen QWERTY keyboard layout
similar to a desktop PC keyboard.
• Tap the
Input Selector
arrow, then tap
Keyboard
.
