Viewing and Replying to Messages
Viewing Text and Multimedia Messages

Tap the message bar at the top of the screen that
shows the new message you’ve just received.

On the Start screen, tap
to open the Messaging
application and view all your messages. When you
open the Messaging application, you will see the
conversations screen where all your sent and
received text and multimedia messages are
grouped into conversations by contact name or
phone number. Scroll the list of conversations by
swiping your finger up or down the screen, and
then tap a contact or phone number whose
messages you want to read.
Saving a Photo From a Multimedia Message
1.
While viewing a mutimedia message, tap the
photo in the message.
2.
Press and hold the opened photo, and then tap
save to phone
.
The photo will be saved in the Saved Pictures album
on your device.
Replying to a Message
1.
On the conversations screen, tap a contact (or
phone number) to view the exchange of messages
with that contact.
2.
Tap the text box at the bottom of the screen and
enter your response.
3.
Tap
to send your message.
Note:
If a message contains a link to a Web page, tap the link
to open it in Internet Explorer.
If a message contains a phone number, tap the
number, edit it if needed, and then tap
call
to dial the
number.
