10. CONNECTING THE INSTRUMENT TO A PC

The instrument can be connected to a PC by means of the serial cable (C232NG1)
supplied as a standard accessory.

NOTE: A standard RS-232 cable will not work with VEGA 76.

The available transmission speeds are the following:

9600, 19200, 57600 (default value)

The value of the transmission speed (Baud Rate) is displayed on the initial screen
(immediately after turning on the instrument) (see paragraph 2.3). The value of this
parameter can be modified only with the management software.

For download instructions please consult the software help file.

In order to transfer the memorized data from the instrument to the PC the following
procedure (after Software Installation) must be followed:

1. Switch ON the instrument and wait for the initial screen to disappear.
2. Connect the serial output of the instrument to the serial output of the PC through

the serial cable.

3.  Run the Program and Close the introduction window.
4.  Select the Download command.
5.  Refer to the software help file for further instructions.
