• Do not place heavy objects on the product.
• In case of damage / malfunctions, switch off the unit immediately /
disconnect it from the mains supply. Do not operate the device
if there is visible damage, if the battery has leaked or if liquid has
penetrated the device.

Charging the battery
NOTE: Do not place the unit above a computer as the high charging current
may damage the computer.
1. The unit must be turned off for charging.
2. Plug the USB cable‘s micro-B connector into the micro-USB jack
on the unit. Then plug the A connector into a USB power adapter
(not supplied).
3. Connect the USB power adapter to an outlet whose voltage
corresponds to the voltage specified on the type plate of the
USB power adapter.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS!
• Never disassemble the housing of the device.
• If the appliance falls into the water while connected to the mains,
disconnect the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to pull
the appliance out of the water while it is connected to the mains!
• Never touch the USB power adapter with wet hands when it is
plugged into the wall outlet.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures above 40° C. Do
not expose to direct sunlight for long periods, use in the immediate
vicinity of fire or place on a heater.
• If the battery leaks, avoid contact of skin, eyes and mucous
membranes with the battery acid. In case of contact with battery
acid, rinse affected areas immediately with plenty of clear water and
seek medical attention immediately. There is a risk of burns from
battery acid.
• Keep the device away from children and animals.
• Persons with a pacemaker or electronic implant as well as other
persons who belong to a risk group or have health concerns should
only use the device after consulting a physician.
• Do not use the device on birthmarks, warts, injured, diseased or
sunburned skin. If there is any uncertainty regarding skin tolerance,
consult a doctor if necessary. First test the device on your arm or leg.
If skin irritations should occur, do not use any further!
• If an unpleasant feeling occurs during the use of the device, stop the
application immediately!
• No liquid may penetrate into the device. Do not immerse in water!
Never use when bathing or showering!
• Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning!
• Only use a proper USB power adapter and only connect it to a
properly installed outlet that conforms to its specifications.
• Protect the device from shocks, sub-zero temperatures and
prolonged humidity.
