You may want to leave an AD domain in order to:

• Temporarily leave, then rejoin the same domain.

• Join a different AD domain.

• Put the StoreOnce System into either No Authentication or Local User Authentication mode.

NAS—CIFS Server

Click

Leave AD

You can then rejoin the same domain. If joining a different AD domain or changing modes, click the

Edit

button on the page and select the new domain or mode.

NFS shares

To use the NAS NFS shares, there are two configuration stages when creating a backup target share that
UNIX and Linux servers can access:

• Configure NFS server hosts that can mount the NFS shares using the NFS server tab. See

Configuring NFS server hosts

on page 53.

• Create NAS NFS shares on the StoreOnce System:

Enabling and disabling NFS Browsability

Enabling NFS Browsability allows all NFS clients to view all of the NFS shares. Disabling it prevents NFS
clients from viewing the NFS shares.

The NFS Browsability setting applies to all nodes in the cluster.
