4.4.16 SATA interface board replacement
To replace the SATA interface board:
1. Power down the system.
2. Disconnect the system from power.
3. Remove the front top cover.
4. Disengage any external drives from the SATA interface board.
5. Disconnect cables from the SATA interface board.
6. Remove the internal drive pair. Leave the drives in the carrier.
7. Remove the three screws that secure SATA interface board.
8. Lift the SATA interface board out of the chassis.
9. Insert the replacement SATA interface board.
10. Secure the board with three screws.
11. Install the internal drive pair.
12. Install the external drives.
13. Connect cables to the SATA interface board.
14. Install the front top cover.
15. Connect power to the system.
16. Power up the system.
