Display assembly
Before disassembling the display assembly, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (
Preparation for disassembly on page 28
).
2.
Place the computer in Battery Safe mode (
).
3.
Remove the bottom cover (
4.
Remove the battery (
).
Disassemble the display assembly:
1.
Remove the display assembly from the computer:
a.
Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN module (1).
b.
Disconnect the display cable from the system board ZIF connector (2).
c.
Remove the four Torx T8 2.5 × 4.0 screws (1) that secure the display assembly to the computer.
