2.4 Keyboard
2.4.1 Using the Windows Logo Key
Use the Windows Logo key in combination with other keys to perform certain functions available in the Windows
operating system.
NOTE:
The Windows logo key does not function on Linux systems.

Move left, right, up, and down, using the keyboard instead of the mouse.

Open pop-up menus in a Microsoft

Office application. Might perform other functions in
other software applications (like the right mouse button).

Windows® Logo Keys*
Open the Start menu in Microsoft Windows. Use in combination with other keys to perform
other functions. (Available only on systems with Microsoft Windows
pre-installed.)

Ctrl Key
Use in combination with another key; its effect depends on the application software you are
using.
