NAS e7000 v2 Quick Start Guide

Note:  

The NAS device will respond when the NAS operating system has started.

5. Using the information from 

Table 3

, fill in the screens that follow. Verify that 

your information is correct when the configuration review screen is displayed, 
as shown in 

Figure 10

. Online help is available for all pages by clicking the 

“?” in the right side of the Web UI.

6. Click the Finish icon to complete Rapid Startup. If a reboot is required, Rapid 

Startup will present a message that a reboot is occuring.

7. The browser will refresh to the status page of the NAS device. The refresh 

may take several minutes if the device was restarted. Click on the HP utilities 
tab and select the SAN Connection Tool. Do not connect storage until 
instructed to do so by the tool.

8. For cluster deployments only, repeat steps 3 - 7 with the second node. After 

the second node is configured, follow the online Cluster Install Guide found in 
the Cluster tab of the Web UI. Additional information can also be found in 
Chapter 4 of this document as well as the cluster section of the administration 
guide.
