Prerequisites
The following prerequisites are provided to help you install the FCA2384 HBA.
Hardware Requirements
Table 3
describes the voltage and minimum PCI slot requirements for the
FCA2384.
In addition, you must use Multimode fiber optic cable with LC connector, used
with short-wave lasers.
Set Jumpers
Table 4
lists the FCA2384 jumper settings. The HBA has two jumper blocks (JX1,
JX2) that control the host adapter's device ID. The default device ID is F980.
