4. Attach the SCSI signal cable

to the SCSI connector

located on the rear
panel of the DLT drive and then to the external SCSI-2 port on the server.
5. Turn thumbscrews into place to secure the cable to the connector.
6. Attach the terminator (not shown) to the SCSI connector

WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to your equipment,
do not disable the power cord grounding feature. This equipment is designed
for connection to a grounded (earthed) power outlet. The grounding plug is an
important safety feature.
7. Plug the drive's AC power cord

into the drive, then into a grounded AC
outlet.
8. Turn ON all peripheral devices.
9. Turn ON the server.
