Install the server. When seated properly, the server will be flush with the front of the chassis and the
release lever will close completely without resistance.

Press the Power On/Standby button.
The server exits standby mode and applies full power to the system. The system power LED
changes from amber to green.
Removing and replacing a drive
To remove the component:
1.
Determine the status of the drive from the drive LED definitions ("
Hot-plug drive LED definitions
" on

Back up all data on the drive.
3.
Remove the drive.
To replace the drive, slide the drive into the bay until it is fully seated, and then close the latch handle to
lock the drive in the bay.
