Removal and replacement procedures 69

Extend the processor memory drawer approximately 2.54 to 5.1 cm (1 to 2 inches).

Remove the SPI board (on page

Loosen the thumbscrew, and then remove the FlexibleLOM from the server.

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

Battery

If the server no longer automatically displays the correct date and time, you might need to replace the

battery that provides power to the real-time clock. Under normal use, battery life is 5 to 10 years.
