5.13 Heat Sink
1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly (Section 5.3) and
remove the following components:

Keyboard (Section 5.9)
❏
Switch cover (Section 5.10)
❏
Speaker cover (Section 5.11)
❏
Fan (Section 5.12)
2. Remove the four PM2.0×9.0 spring-loaded shoulder
screws
1
that secure the heat sink to the notebook.
3. Lift the front edge of the heat sink

and slide the heat
sink out of the notebook at an angle
