Connect the AC power adapter.

Plug the large end of the adapter cable into a wall outlet.
•
Plug the small end of the cable into the camera.

Open the lens cover to turn the camera on.
The status LCD displays
PC
to indicate the camera is connected to the computer
and is operating in PC mode.

Start the HP PhotoSmart photo finishing software: From the Windows 95
Start
menu, select
Programs
, then
HP PhotoSmart
,
Photo Finishing Software
.

In the
Get Images
section, click the digital camera icon to view your photos.
The photos that are stored on the CompactFlash memory card load into your
computer’s memory and display in the photo finishing software window.
