Removal and Replacement Procedures

5.6 Mini PCI Communications Board

1. Prepare the notebook for disassembly (Section 5.3).

2. Remove the memory expansion/Mini PCI communications

compartment cover (Section 5.5).

3. Disconnect the two antenna cables

and

from the Mini

PCI communications board.

4. Spread the retaining tabs

that secure the Mini PCI

communications board to the socket. The board rises up.

5. Pull the board away from the socket at a 45-degree angle

Removing a Mini PCI Communications Board

Reverse the above procedure to install a Mini PCI
communications board.
