Battery packs

Inserting or removing a battery pack

Ä

CAUTION: 

To prevent loss of work when removing a battery pack that 

is the sole power source, initiate hibernation or turn off the computer 
before removing the battery pack.

✎

Battery packs may vary in appearance.

To insert a battery pack:

1. Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface.

2. Insert the battery pack

 into the battery bay and rotate it 

down 

2

 until it is seated.

The battery pack release latch automatically locks the battery 
into place.
