Troubleshooting

To determine the current Switch 2000 software version, do 
the following: 

1.

From the Main menu, select  

Statistics

2.

In the Statistics screen, select  

Switch Information

3.

You will then see a screen similar to the following, in which you can 
identify the current software (OS) version in use with the Switch 2000.

Compare the OS Version number of the FDDI Module with the OS Version 
number of the Switch 2000. If they match, or if FDDI Module version 
number is the same as the Switch 2000 version number, then the FDDI 
Module should operate properly with the Switch 2000. Otherwise, you 
should obtain the latest version of Switch 2000 software and perform a 
software download. (Refer to “Downloading Software” on page 3.)
